Our Philosophy
A Child-Led Bilingual Montessori Approach in Forest Park
Bilingual Montessori Lab Academy is an authentic learning space where trust and respect are the foundation of everything we do. Following the Montessori philosophy, we transform traditional education. Instead of memorizing facts, students discover concepts through hands-on experience. This fosters a deep connection with their bilingual environment.
In our classrooms, which are intentionally designed for independence, teachers act as guides who respect each child’s individual pace. This approach not only cultivates creativity and problem-solving skills but also sows a lifelong love of learning and self-discipline that will stay with students long after their school years.

Bilingual Primary
At BMLA, our Montessori Primary Program nurtures the natural curiosity and independence of young learners in a bilingual environment. Children explore hands-on materials that build foundational skills in math, language, and practical life. This helps them gain confidence and focus. In our classrooms, students hear and speak both English and Spanish throughout the day, growing their language through songs, storytelling, and meaningful daily routines. Mixed-age groupings create a strong sense of community, where older children lead and mentor younger ones, reinforcing their knowledge while developing empathy and leadership.
Bilingual Elementary
Our Elementary Program supports students through their most imaginative and socially aware years, offering a bilingual education that builds independence and curiosity. Children explore big ideas through research, creative projects, and interdisciplinary work in science, language, geography, math, and art. With Spanish immersion and biliteracy at the core, students read, write, and present in both languages across subjects, strengthening their communication and cultural understanding. Leadership and collaboration flourish in our mixed-age classrooms, where students learn to support each other and grow with purpose.

What Our Families Say
The satisfaction of our families is our greatest achievement
Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My son was a student at BiMontLab for three years and it was the most amazing school! Claudia, Roxana and their team absolutely love and understand children, encouraging each to grow and learn and develop into their own selves. Miss Claudia also cultivates a lovely community and teaches the way she lives, with a deep connection to others and the Earth. Highly recommend!Posted on Elsa AndersonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We absolutely love Bilingual Montessori Lab and cannot recommend it enough. Miss Claudia is a true professional with over 30 years of experience in Montessori teaching, and it shows in every aspect of the school. Our child has been attending Miss Claudia’s school for the past two years, and the growth we’ve seen has been remarkable. She has developed so much independence, confidence, and curiosity, and she genuinely looks forward to going to school every single day. What we appreciate most is the well-rounded, hands-on curriculum. It is deeply rooted in practical life skills, nature-based learning, and is thoughtfully guided by each child’s individual abilities and interests. The environment feels intentional, nurturing, and empowering for young learners. We are so grateful to be part of this community and highly recommend Bilingual Montessori Lab to any parents seeking an authentic Montessori experience with full Spanish immersion.Posted on Brenda Bedolla
